We also cover strategies for handling emergencies and sudden illnesses. If your child is not meeting important developmental milestones, this visit is an excellent opportunity to share any concerns you may have about their growth. Feel free to ask any questions, whether they are medical or related to your child’s overall well-being. Addressing Health Concerns

During well-child exam appointments, we conduct a comprehensive assessment of your child's health. This includes evaluating their lungs and heart by listening to their beats, measuring blood pressure, and testing vision and hearing. We also examine their tongue, eyes, ears, teeth, hands, and feet. Additionally, we measure weight, height, and head circumference, and record their body mass index (BMI). Urine or blood tests may be used to further examine internal organs.

This thorough evaluation helps us understand your child's overall health and provides guidance on necessary interventions. If your child is not meeting growth expectations for their age, we may recommend treatments or therapies, particularly for issues like poor hearing or vision.
